16 Shorty smith Rd Laurel Ms 39443 601-425-4480 We sell Pond Dye: $45.00 per gallon. You need one gallon per acre. Lasts a long time. POND DYE The most common use of pond dyes is bird
control and to control aquatic vegetation, most pond dyes are
food grade, they can be used safely with no restrictions on water use
or harm to anything living in the aquatic environment. Pond dye
controls algae growth by cutting down on the sunlight penetration into
the water. Pond dyes will not affect any weeds on top of water. Pond
dye is not a hercide and will not kill any aquatic vegetation. It
works by cutting down on the sunlight penetration into
the water.
Bird ControlAquatic vegetation that lies just beneath the water must have sunlight to survive. Great for states that don't allow grass carp (Alaska, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Vermont, & Wisconsin banned any importation of grass carp.) Cormorant, Water Turket, Great Blue
Heron and Mergansers are a fish killing manchines. They are very good
at what do. These birds can clean out a pond in days or weeks.
Two months out of the year when the birds head south, they flock to our
ponds for food. We have counted as many as 120 in one pond alone. State
Laws make it more difficult for us to get ride of these fish eating
pest. Mergansers dive to
catch fish below the water surface. They are daytime feeders.
Suttle Fish Farm uses pond dye in our pond
for bird control. Pond dye makes it a lot more difficlut for these fish
eating pest to see our fish and a lot less birds are returning each
time. Suttle Fish Farm recommends Pond Dye because-- it works.
Adding pond dye to any pond will enhance the beauty of any pond.
