The primary time to stock ponds is when the water temperature is 60 degrees or lower. All live fish are perishable and can only be shipped at certain times. We have to abide by the Mississippi weather for our shipping. The prime time to stock Bluegill, Minnows & Catfish is the winter season. Bass can be stocked & shipped in June-July.
Grass Carp are shipped all times except extreme hot weather.

*It costs as much to ship one fish as it does to ship 500. Freight charges are based per container. Sometimes fish are tranquilized for shipping in a container pressurized with oxygen. Unpacking instructions are attached to each container telling how to introduce fish into your pond/lake. We ship extra fish in case some do not make the trip. We replace fish when instructions are followed.
